Quality Testing

In this increasingly competitive world, raising the quality standards becomes extremely important. Customers today look for quality rather than the price, and they are eager to pay higher prices if the quality is the best. Hence, for the same reason, many quality testing tools have been developed to physically test the textile finished goods.

Testing provides an insight into the variables and which values are needed to be tweaked to get best results. At MTIL, we recognize this need and hence our products go through a thorough quality testing and control process.

01

Keeping an Eye on Raw Materials

Raw material is the most important part when it comes to the production of textile products. We ensure that the raw material delivered to the site is of highest quality so that it doesn’t wither while going through different processes.

These processes include natural and man-made fiber production, fiber extrusion, wool scouring, yarn spinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting, manufacturing garments, and producing to households.

Maintaining a Smooth Production Flow

Under this, maintaining the certain properties, and tolerances of the product is carried out which have been set as per the predefined levels. These include process variables like temperature, PH levels, filament, streaks, time, and controlling them. Controlling these variables is important to reduce costs and its impact on the environment too.

Examination of the Finished Product

When the final products are being packed for the distribution to customers, they are assessed in bulk quantities to check if they meet the criteria.

Although, till now it gets quite late as the products have already been manufactured – either samples or all of them are checked to find out any faults. If found any faults, they are immediately rectified by the operation managers. However, we make sure that even if it takes a lot of time, the final product would always be of top notch quality.

Rectifying the Faults in Production

The quality testing and control doesn’t stop even after the product has reached the customers. If there is a case of any fault in the final inspection, or If there is a complaint by customer – we make sure to look into the case and rectify the mistake. (We have a separate fully equipped Laboratory for rectifying faults in production)

Modified Development and Research Practices

As the technology is ever changing in the market, it is only fair to keep our development and research practices up to date. These can either include new and innovative production methods or even better raw materials.

However, it is equally necessary to ensure that when these innovative products reach the sites – they have been properly upgraded and not downgraded due to new production methods. We make sure that this doesn’t affect the quality of the product and we are able to provide the same high quality at a price lower than the earlier ones.
